HOURS OF OPERATION

Monday – Friday (7am - 9pm)

Saturday & Sunday (7 am -1pm) 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Proper tennis attire is required (wear shirts during play).

No Ball Machines allowed

Flat soled tennis shoes only, no shoes that mark or gouge the courts.

Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, hoverboards, and like equipment are strictly forbidden

All tobacco products are strictly forbidden including vaping. 

Pets are not allowed under any circumstance.

No climbing on the furniture, fences, or nets.

Controlled substances are prohibited. Alcohol is not allowed in the courts at any time. It can be allowed in the building, once you have a license, insurance, etc. 

No food, soft drinks/tea/coffee, or gum are allowed on the courts.

Any abusive or threatening verbal or physical behavior and any offensive or obscene language are prohibited. 

USTA Code of Conduct: Players and spectators are expected to follow the USTA Code of Conduct; if anyone at any

time behaves disrespectfully toward others, they may be asked to leave the facility.

All reservations of courts shall follow the procedures as described herein.

All players must exit the court after their reserved time ends. If players want to extend their time, they must check back in at the Pro-Shop in person or by telephone.

Parking for all vehicles, including scooters and motorcycles, is in designated parking spaces only.

All rules, regulations, policies, or other procedures as defined for the Golden Isles Tennis Center or the City of Hallandale Beach will be enforced. Any violations may result in restrictions on future use. 

COURT BOOKING AND USE

To book a court you can call the office during operational hours (954-534-9547) to check for court availability. 

Members can also book online through https://goldenislestenniscenter.com. When booking online you must create an account, choose a court and select the time you wish to play.

Golden Isles Tennis Center has the right to move court reservations due to weather and court conditions, programming, tournaments, leagues, and groups in order to facilitate play and accommodate players and teams.

You cannot book for more than 1.5 hours. Only one court can be reserved at one time.

If you’re late for your booking by more than 15 minutes without informing the desk staff your reservation may be canceled and you will be charged. 

Players must be courteous to other players and to facility staff. 

Do not enter the court area before your reserved time, and allow players to finish the point in progress.

Leave your court when the time expires i.e. do not hang around and talk as new players begin to play.

No music, animals, or dogs are allowed on the grounds, courts or inside the tennis center.

Turn down cell phones while playing on the court or watching.

Players are reminded that needless loud noise/improper tennis etiquette can be disturbing and distracting to other players.

All players must clean debris and remove personal items from the court at the conclusion of play.

There is a 6 ball maximum for non-coaches. Only Smatt Tennis certified coaches are authorized and allowed to coach/ teach lessons on the courts.

CHECK IN PROCEDURES

All players must check in at the office with desk staff before walking on courts. All fees must be paid prior to entering the courts. No cash payments are excepted credit cards only. Desk staff will assign courts to patrons. 

WEATHER PROCEDURES

When lightning is near, 1 long solid horn will sound from the building meaning the courts must be clear. Desk staff will come out and make sure the courts are clear and that all players and any other persons present at the tennis center seek shelter. Play may resume after 3 short horns bursts meaning all clear. No one is allowed on the courts until the all clear is given.

Rain checks will be given to players when less than 50% of their booking time is completed. If more than 50% of booking time was completed no rain check will be issued. Rain checks are good for one-time use only and must be turned in to the front desk staff during check-in. 

Failure to abide by the Tennis Center rules and regulations may result in a loss of privileges. Do you have a three strike policy or? Tennis center staff have the final decision regarding all dispute resolution. Failure to observe the above rules and regulations may result in immediate stoppage of play and possible removal from the tennis centers or being banned from future use of facilities.
